Britany Kabakov’s Legal Background

Britany is a graduate of the University of Chicago Law School. She started her legal career as a litigation associate at Kirkland & Ellis LLP and Steptoe & Johnson LLP in their Chicago offices.

Experience in Federal & Multidistrict Litigation

She has represented clients in federal court, multidistrict litigation, and class action lawsuits involving defective products, consumer fraud, toxic tort, and environmental cases. Britany also has experience in information privacy, insurance, and contract disputes.

Judicial Clerkships & Externships

Britany had the honor of clerking for Magistrate Judge Sunil R. Harjani in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and externing for Judge Andrew G. Schopler in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of California.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Britany teaches yoga, spends time with her dog (the best rescue from Paws Chicago), and enjoys exploring new cities and cultures.
