Almeida Law Group is pleased to announce that on May 27, 2025, the Honorable Kathleen M. McCarthy of the Circuit Court for the County of Wayne, Michigan, granted preliminary approval of a class action settlement in McClain v. Henry Ford Health, Case No. 25-000801-CZ.

ALG Founder David S. Almeida has been preliminarily appointed as Class Counsel for the Settlement Class, alongside Emily E. Hughes of The Miller Law Firm, P.C., Gary M. Klinger of Milberg Coleman Bryson Phillips Grossman PLLC, and Nicholas A. Coulson of Coulson P.C.

The Court has conditionally certified a settlement class consisting of all patients of Henry Ford Health residing in the United States who had a MyChart patient portal account with Henry Ford Health between January 1, 2020, to and through December 31, 2023.
