The Almeida Law Group and co-counsel Siri & Glimstad have secured preliminary approval of a $5 million settlement of a class action lawsuit captioned Reedy, et al. v. Everlywell, Inc. and currently pending in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. By their lawsuit, Plaintiffs claim that Everlywell and Natalist embedded tracking pixels—such as Meta’s Pixel—on their websites, which allegedly allowed third parties like Meta and Google to access confidential personally identifiable information (PII) and protected health information (PHI) without users’ consent. Both companies deny all allegations of wrongdoing and liability.
If finally approved by the Court, the settlement will establish a fund to compensate approximately two million individuals who purchased products or services from Everlywell or Natalist during the past five years. A Final Fairness and Approval Hearing is scheduled for April 29, 2025 before Judge Wood in the Everett M. Dirksen U.S. Courthouse in Chicago.
