Matt has been involved in dozens of class action lawsuits including data breach and privacy violations, state consumer fraud and deceptive business practices, false advertising and false labeling, the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA), the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and Illinois’ Biometric Information Privacy Act (BIPA). Before joining Almeida Law Group, Matt was a partner at Benesch, Friedlander, Coplan and Aronoff LLP where he worked alongside David in the firm’s Class Action practice group and on the two-billion-dollar defamation suit involving election fraud claims.  Prior to joining Benesch, Matt was a securities class action attorney at Robbins Geller where he investigated and helped bring securities fraud cases on behalf of shareholders.
